We are ecstatic to finally introduce our 50th Microbatch, and our first ever Barrel Aged MILK Chocolate! We aged cacao nibs in bourbon whiskey barrels from Sonoma Brothers Distilling for TWO YEARS to take full advantage of the nuanced flavors from the barrel. The aging process imparted a unique oak aroma with notes of dried cherries and a delicate vintage bourbon character that takes this bar to a whole new level of decadence. The addition of organic A2/A2 whole milk from Alexandre Family Farm gives the chocolate a creamy texture with rich notes of dulce de leche, toffee, and vanilla.
