Ingredients
10 cups (900g) rolled oats*
10 cups (1200g) unsweetened coconut flakes
6 cups (660g) sliced almonds*
2 cups (400g) sugar*
4 teaspoons fleur de sel
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
2 cups (473ml) melted coconut oil*
2 cups (473ml) maple syrup*
2 tablespoons almond extract
4 tsp vanilla extract
32 oz shredded or finely chopped dark chocolate
Directions
Preheat oven to 225°F (lower sharpie line). In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients. In a smaller bowl, stir together the wet ingredients then pour over the oat mixture and stir until evenly moistened.
Spread mixture evenly on 3 parchment-paper lined pans and bake for about 60 minutes until lightly browned, stirring and rotating top to bottom every 15 minutes.
Remove from heat. Let cool 10 minutes then pour on melted chocolate and stir until evenly coated. Cool until chocolate has hardened, breaking it up as it cools.
